I hadn't read the reviews and wish I had.After I saw it and used I knew it was the worst I ever got. Now I had to see if I am alone in my opinion and see everybody says the same thing so I think the ones who make this should try it themselves and put it up against the others and see what they can do to make it better. We can't all be wrong and aren't we what buys and helps with their selling power? Also, the handle is sooo short and hard to hold.

I like the coverage it gives, but it's a little harsh on the face. I have washed it once in baby shampoo and it hasn't helped. Maybe it requires more washing? I see there are alot of good reviews, so I will wash and try again!

I LOVE my brush. It was very harsh on my skin at first, but it became very soft after I washed it. I used a little bit of shampoo and then rinsed it in cool water. Now, I wash it about every two months to clean it. It has never shed.

I love Laurens products but this brush is not what I was hoping it would be. I don't even use it, I put it away. The bristles are rough and my skin is sensitive and so when I used it for mineral makeup it was scratchy and rough on my skin. I do like the size, but please make bristles softer.

This kabuki brush is great -- it doesn't shed, like others I've used (I really gave it a good test, too) and it's not flimsy, but sturdy and well made. Thanks, Lauren.
