Terrible applicator / Diane5/29/2008 The presentation said to pump applicator 3 times to apply the powder. I did just that, and finally figured out, I wasn''t applying any powder. I pumped it 20 times, nothing on the brush, tapped the container to loosen things up, pumped it some more, and bam, a cloud of powder came gushing out. I''m trying to figure out a way to open it up, so I can use my own brush. The brush on the applicator is cheap,and very stiff, and got out of shape right away.
I like the compact products.
Finally! Powder I can use!!! / , AL4/22/2008 Haven''t used powder in years--they all made my aging skin look hideous--tried most mineral and "regular" powders. First application of this and I went "OOOOOOOO", WOW! LOVELY light, natural coverage which evened out skin tone, and DID NOT SETTLE IN LINES AND PORES. VERY NICE!! A container issue / JV4/18/2008 Let me start by saying I like Lauren''s lip products, and loose powders generally and I was excited to get this all in one item. Problem for me,it was way over sized. I specifically wanted the powder for my make-up bag and there was no way it would fit, even when I removed everything else. I don''t think the container needs to be so long. Hope Lauren can make the powder brush and or tube shorter and stubbier. Then I would use (and keep) it.
PUFF OF SMOKE!!! / Eileen, NJ4/15/2008 I love Lauren''s products. I cannot use it because it produces a big puff of powder, and it gets into my lungs and throat and all I do is cough.
If she can correct this problem, then it would be great. I also did not feel the coverage was that great, and I have really great skin. It just seemed as if I had nothing on. Maybe because I did not push the applicator enough times, but I just could not stand the breathing problem.
just ok / Rosie, MA4/9/2008 I really liked the contour, concealer and blush but the mineral foundation was just ok. It did not provide as much coverage as other mineral brands and on applying it, a cloud of product surrounded my head. I was concerned because I was breathing it in. Other mineral brands do not do this, perhaps because they are heavier. I did like the convenience of the product already in the applicator. I am keeping it for the trio of makeup since it is compact and works well.
