Painful, but it works / , CO

If you can handle the pain, you''ll be happy with the results. Although I''ve only used the Emjoi OptiMax on my face (it hurts too much for me to consider trying elsewhere on my body), the hair removal makes my face look flawless. And, the hair that was removed has taken forever to grow back (yeah!) and is much thinner than before. So, I guess this product falls into the category of "no pain, no gain."

I was surprised at all the negative reviews on this product. I use mine for facial hair, and it works very well. I no longer need to pay for wax treatments at my salon. My face is so smooth after use, and it gets all the hair. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars, is that it can be uncomfortable to use on sensitive areas. But then, waxing is uncomfortable as well. I am very pleased with mine.

I have used this product three times and so far I just love it. I have used it on my legs under arms and bikini line with great results and no ingrown hairs. The secret is you must shower first and use a real good lufa on your skin first. Also before you do your under arms dust lightly with a baby power first to prevent sticking. It does take longer than shaving your legs does but I look at it this way it takes longer for the hair to grow back to, and when the hair grows back it is much softer.

I bought this based on two claims it made: painless hair remover and its use would cause hair to grow back finer. All false! It realy hurt, turned me red and I broke out in bumps. When the hair grew back, it grew back thicker. I sent it back as it was a waste of time and money.

Wonderful beauty tool! Only need to use it on my legs once a week. Virtually pain free the first week; now I consider it pain free. Need to use it 3 times first week. Note using on stubble less painful than on longer hair. Does leave little red dots; this more pronounced the first few times of use though go away w/in a few hours. Now red dots are few and far between & fade quickly. Haven''t used any where else on the body, as intended only for my legs. I never want to be without this tool.
