I don't know, I like it. I'm a fan of sweet, edible scents. I think it definietly does smell like pumpkin AND spice, with a sophisticated exotic undertone. I don't like it as much as Honey Vanilla and Hazelnut, but it's a great festive scent to get you in the holiday spirit (... or prolong it).

I know scent is a very personal thing and evidently some people didn't like this scent but I absolutely love it! If you're a fan of the Mandarin Ginger scent that has evidently been discontinued, I urge you to try this.

I purchased 2 sets, one for myself and one for my daughter. Though the quality of the product was as good as always, the scent was not. I tend to like the food scents, she likes the florals, but neither of us liked this one.

This scent was about as far removed from the smell of pumpkin that I can think of!
It was a good idea to come up with that as a scent but someone should have done a bit more homework on the aroma end of things. I just did not get it....so back it went. The Lemon, Banana, and Olive lotions, soaps and creams are far superior to this one but I guess it was a nice try. If you are looking for a great pumpkin or spicey pumpkin scent DO NOT buy this ... you will be disappointed.

Ordered for my kids, who saw the show and thought it would be fun to smell like pumpkins as well as look like pumpkins, since they were going trick-or-treating as a pumpkin patch. For our family, this kit was a light-hearted treat. The fragrance did not smell sweet, as I expected, but more like a base note of unsweetened pumpkin with autumnal spices. Since I was thinking pie, I found the fragrance unusual at first, but I honestly do like the scent, as does my husband & kids, because it is different. And now that I think about it, I'm not sure I wanted it to smell like pie, anyway. It is a nice, natural fragrance. More like pumpkin flowers, perhaps? Like the pretty packaging? Anyway, it worked for us and made our autumn fun.
