The Road to Raw

For decades, you couldn’t help but see supermodel Carol Alt. She was everywhere – posing for over 700 magazine covers and appearing in more than 65 films. Her popular exercise videos, calendars, posters and cookbooks have sold millions of copies worldwide.

At 34 years old, Carol made a momentous change. As she says, that’s when she “discovered the life-changing benefits of eating raw foods and living a raw lifestyle.”

She vowed to fuel her body with uncooked, unprocessed foods and made it her mission to find beauty treatments compatible with her newfound outlook and the principles of the raw lifestyle.

When that search produced no results, Carol added "entrepreneur" to her impressive resume, founding the RAW Essentials skin care collection. Today, feeling great and looking gorgeous, she's known as a raw advocate and educator, cookbook author and a beauty industry innovator.
